Kate Upton (born June 10, 1992) is an American model and actress known for her appearance in the 2011 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, for which she was named Rookie of the Year.
Kate Upton was born in St. Joseph, Michigan. She was raised in Melbourne, Florida. She has two sisters and a brother, David. Her uncle is Fred Upton, the Congressman for the Sixth Congressional District of Michigan.

An equestrienne, Kate Upton showed for the American Paint Horse Association and competed on a national level. With her horse Roanie Pony, she won three APHA Reserve World Championships, in 13 and Under Western Riding, 13 and Under Horsemanship and 14–18 Western Riding and named the 13 and Under Reserve All-Around Champion at the APHA World Championship Show, giving her a total of five championships. In addition, Kate Upton ended up third overall on the APHA youth Top Twenty. With a second horse, Zipped, she won 14–18 Western Riding and was top 5 in 14–18 Horsemanship and 14–18 Western Pleasure in 2009.

In 2008, Upton attended a casting call in Miami for Elite Model Management and was signed by them the same day. She eventually moved to New York City, where she signed with IMG Models

Upton first modeled for Garage, then Dooney & Bourke. She is the 2010–11 face of Guess. In 2011, Upton appeared in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue. She was featured in the body paint section and named Rookie of the Year for the issue. She has since modeled for Beach Bunny swimwear and Victoria's Secret, and has appeared in Complex and Esquire as "The Woman of the Summer".

In April 2011, an internet video of her doing the Dougie at a Los Angeles Clippers game went viral and has served to increase her popularity.

Upton made an appearance in a June 2011 episode of Tosh.0, participating in a segment called "Knife or Banana", emulating a Japanese game show in which she is stabbed with a banana.

In July 2011, Upton played in 2011 Taco Bell All-Star Legends & Celebrity Softball Game at Chase Field in Phoenix, Arizona.

Upton's acting debut was in the film Tower Heist, as Mr. Hightower’s Mistress. She followed up with an appearance in The Three Stooges as Sister Bernice.[1On February 28, 2011, JoJo revealed the new title of her third album would be named Jumping Trains, named after one of her favorite songs on the upcoming Interscope Records project. She will announce the first single and shoot a video in the coming weeks. JoJo also has a film career. She made her first television appearance on The Bernie Mac Show. In 2006 she starred in two Hollywood films, Aquamarine, her film debut and RV. She has hosted the Ultimate Prom, and appeared in the movie True Confessions of a Hollywood Starlet, which earned her a nomination at the Poptastic Awards.

Was she engaging in simulated sex? Not even close. Did she experience a nipple slip? Not that I could tell. However, that didn’t stop the moderators at the popular website from removing the clip due to community guidelines. Outrage promptly ensued. “With the massive volume of videos on our site, sometimes we make the wrong call,” a YouTube spokesperson told The Daily Beast. “When it’s brought to our attention that a video has been removed mistakenly, we act quickly to reinstate it.”

Anna Paquin has hit back at critics who suggest bisexuality is “made up”, insisting gender has nothing to do with who she falls in love with. The actress went public with her sexual orientation in 2010 as part of an awareness campaign for Cyndi Lauper’s True Colors Fund, which fights for the rights of the gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender (GLBT) community. Paquin insists she has no regrets over the revelation, and wants to clear up misconceptions of being attracted to both sexes. She tells Zooey magazine, “I’m sure for some people saying they’re bisexual feels less scary than making a statement that they’re gay. “For me, it’s not really an issue because I’m someone who believes being bisexual is actually a thing. It’s not made up. It’s not a lack of decision. It’s not being greedy or numerous other ignorant things I’ve heard at this point. “For a bisexual, it’s not about gender. That’s not the deciding factor for who they’re attracted to.”

Between the dip-dyed bikini and the dance, the video appears to be an ode to Upton's odd brand of celebrity.

Mark RuffaloMark Ruffalo Hulk: Actor to Portray the Superhero in Five More Films

Mark Ruffalo’s Hulk hasn’t made his big screen debut here in the States yet — other countries have already experience the adventures of the jolly green hero in Joss Whedon’s “The Avengers” — but apparently that hasn’t stopped the award-winning actor from signing on to play the character in five more motion pictures. Yes, you read that correctly — five more movies will feature the Hulk, and if all goes accordingly, Ruffalo will be there, as well. There isn’t a whole lot of information about where the character will pop up or how, but, chances are, it will involve a few sequels to the box office smash featuring Ruffalo’s debut as Bruce Banner/Hulk. There’s also a very strong possibility that there will be at least one more standalone “Hulk” movie, assuming that Marvel doesn’t kick him to curb the way they did Eric Bana and Edward Norton. Hey, it’s obviously happend before, so don’t rule it out. What do you think? Will Ruffalo make a good Bruce Banner, or has Marvel jumped the gun after seeing the worldwide box office results for “The Avengers?” Be sure to let us know. Johansson said that she owed her "Widowdom" to director Jon Favreau, who helmed both "Iron Man" films. "I don't think I would think of myself as being this badass super heroine," the actress said. "He took a chance on me and I was able to build a character really from that, from 'Iron Man 2,' and being able to play a woman who is not a love interest, she's not a wife, she's not a sidekick, she is her own ... she's a mercenary, really, and it's a rare opportunity." She’s played some of my favorite characters over the years and is fully capable of playing everything from a hard-nosed bitch to a vulnerable woman who tries too hard to make everyone happy. To see her talents used to bring a character like Charlie Harper back to life just makes me sad…especially when she falls into the trap of ball-jokes and sexist silliness.
