Kate Upton (born June 10, 1992) is an American model and actress known for her appearance in the 2011 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, for which she was named Rookie of the Year.
Kate Upton was born in St. Joseph, Michigan. She was raised in Melbourne, Florida. She has two sisters and a brother, David. Her uncle is Fred Upton, the Congressman for the Sixth Congressional District of Michigan.

An equestrienne, Kate Upton showed for the American Paint Horse Association and competed on a national level. With her horse Roanie Pony, she won three APHA Reserve World Championships, in 13 and Under Western Riding, 13 and Under Horsemanship and 14–18 Western Riding and named the 13 and Under Reserve All-Around Champion at the APHA World Championship Show, giving her a total of five championships. In addition, Kate Upton ended up third overall on the APHA youth Top Twenty. With a second horse, Zipped, she won 14–18 Western Riding and was top 5 in 14–18 Horsemanship and 14–18 Western Pleasure in 2009.

In 2008, Upton attended a casting call in Miami for Elite Model Management and was signed by them the same day. She eventually moved to New York City, where she signed with IMG Models

Upton first modeled for Garage, then Dooney & Bourke. She is the 2010–11 face of Guess. In 2011, Upton appeared in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue. She was featured in the body paint section and named Rookie of the Year for the issue. She has since modeled for Beach Bunny swimwear and Victoria's Secret, and has appeared in Complex and Esquire as "The Woman of the Summer".

In April 2011, an internet video of her doing the Dougie at a Los Angeles Clippers game went viral and has served to increase her popularity.

Upton made an appearance in a June 2011 episode of Tosh.0, participating in a segment called "Knife or Banana", emulating a Japanese game show in which she is stabbed with a banana.

In July 2011, Upton played in 2011 Taco Bell All-Star Legends & Celebrity Softball Game at Chase Field in Phoenix, Arizona.

Upton's acting debut was in the film Tower Heist, as Mr. Hightower’s Mistress. She followed up with an appearance in The Three Stooges as Sister Bernice.[1On February 28, 2011, JoJo revealed the new title of her third album would be named Jumping Trains, named after one of her favorite songs on the upcoming Interscope Records project. She will announce the first single and shoot a video in the coming weeks. JoJo also has a film career. She made her first television appearance on The Bernie Mac Show. In 2006 she starred in two Hollywood films, Aquamarine, her film debut and RV. She has hosted the Ultimate Prom, and appeared in the movie True Confessions of a Hollywood Starlet, which earned her a nomination at the Poptastic Awards.

That’s not the deciding factor for who they’re attracted to.”

Mark RuffaloMark Ruffalo Hulk: Actor to Portray the Superhero in Five More Films

Mark Ruffalo’s Hulk hasn’t made his big screen debut here in the States yet — other countries have already experience the adventures of the jolly green hero in Joss Whedon’s “The Avengers” — but apparently that hasn’t stopped the award-winning actor from signing on to play the character in five more motion pictures. Yes, you read that correctly — five more movies will feature the Hulk, and if all goes accordingly, Ruffalo will be there, as well. There isn’t a whole lot of information about where the character will pop up or how, but, chances are, it will involve a few sequels to the box office smash featuring Ruffalo’s debut as Bruce Banner/Hulk. There’s also a very strong possibility that there will be at least one more standalone “Hulk” movie, assuming that Marvel doesn’t kick him to curb the way they did Eric Bana and Edward Norton. Hey, it’s obviously happend before, so don’t rule it out. What do you think? Will Ruffalo make a good Bruce Banner, or has Marvel jumped the gun after seeing the worldwide box office results for “The Avengers?” Be sure to let us know. Somewhere etched on a stone tablet are the Rules of Rom-Coms. All romantic comedies, it seems, must have an unlikely couple meet, fall in love, hit an obstacle and then reconcile just before the credits roll. "The Five-Year Engagement" is no different. But it shakes up the formula with some dark comedy (no other romance would use frostbite as a plot point), an adult conversation done with Muppet voices and two stars with charm and charisma to burn. Jason Segel is Tom, a San Francisco chef engaged to his girlfriend Violet (Emily Blunt). The quirky pair is a perfect match and head off to parties dressed as Princess Diana and Super Bunny. But circumstance gets in the way of the wedding plans. First Violet's sister Suzie (Alison Brie) preempts her sister's big day by getting pregnant and planning a shotgun wedding. Then psychology student Violet accepts a spot in a two-year graduate program at the University of Michigan, once again getting in the way of this walk down the aisle. Like many Judd Apatow-produced movies, "The Five-Year Engagement" plays out like a standard rom-com but takes many twists and turns along the way. Some darker touches help separate this from the run-of-the-mill romantic comedies, but they also weigh down the midsection of the movie. Luckily this isn't Kristen Bell, or worse, Katherine Heigl and any standard romantic male lead starring in this movie.

Superior Court Judge Reve Goetz granted the approval after Spears requested her future husband join her court conservatorship shortly after their engagement in December 2011. Spears, 30, has been under a court-ordered conservatorship since February 2008. Her father took control of her personal affairs after the Grammy-winning singer was hospitalized twice after suffering a psychological breakdown. Geraldine Wyle, an attorney for Jaime, told reporters following the hearing that her client was "thrilled" to have Trawick as a co-conservator. Trawick has previously acted as Spears' agent and did attend the hearing Wednesday.

Bagwell started wrestling for WCW in the early 90s as Marcus Alexander Bagwell. The young rookie was a solid babyface character until the mid 90s. When Hulk Hogan and the New World Order turned pro wrestling into a hot ratings bonanza, Marcus Alexander Bagwell went from young rookie to cocky heel. Robin Gibb of the Bee Gees has woken up from a coma and is also suffering from colorectal cancer, his doctor, Dr. Andrew Thillainayagam, told the Associated Press on April 22. Gibb remains in intensive care . Dr. Thillainayagam said the singer is being treated for advanced colorectal cancer, which affects the colon or rectum, and had caught pneumonia as his immune system was weakened from grueling doses of chemotherapy and two operations. A statement was released in mid-April on the singer's official website which confirmed 62-year-old Gibb fell into a coma after contracting the pneumonia. Thillainayagam reportedly told Gibb's family on April 19 that there was a possibility that the singer would not wake up from the coma. However, Gibb is now fully conscious and able to speak. He is breathing with the help of an oxygen mask and needs intravenous feeding and antibiotics. "It is testament to Robin's extraordinary courage, iron will and deep reserves of physical strength that he has overcome quite incredible odds to get where he is now," Thillainayagam said in a statement posted on Gibb's official Facebook page. "Robin's wife, Dwina and son, Robin-John, his son Spencer and daughter Melissa have been at his bedside every day, talking to him and playing his favorite music to him," the statment continued. "They have been tireless in their determination never to give up on him."

A statement issued by UNHCR representative Adrian Edwards said: “During a decade of service as UNHCR’s Goodwill Ambassador, Ms. Jolie has conducted more than 40 field visits around the world, becoming an expert on the phenomenon of forced displacement and a tireless advocate on their behalf. In her new role, she is expected to focus on large-scale crises resulting in the mass displacement of people, to undertake advocacy and represent UNHCR and Mr. Guterres at the diplomatic level, engaging with relevant interlocutors on global displacement issues. About 300 Protestant church members will gather in downtown Seoul Sunday night to hold a group prayer against the concert in the capital, Kang Ju-Hyun, a prayer organiser told AFP. "We will pray to God that the concert will not be realised so that homosexuality and pornography will not spread around the country," he said. Kang, who leads a group called Alliance for Sound Culture In Sexuality, said other major church groups would join his campaign by holding protests around the Seoul headquarters of Hyundai Card, the concert organiser. The Korean Association of Church Communication vowed last month to take "concerted action to stop young people from being infected with homosexuality and pornography." Bieber adamantly denied there was any possibility of that happening and took a paternity test to prove it. Yeater, through her lawyer, defended the allegations but as soon as the results of his paternity test came in she dropped her lawsuit. There was a lot of speculation as to why Yeater went after Bieber if the allegations weren’t true. There are several plausible explanations that have surface. The first was that she was ashamed to admit she was pregnant by her then boyfriend so she made up the story about Bieber to calm her parents down. They decided to escalate the situation and she was then too embarrassed to admit she was lying.
